As we begin the 2018-2019 school year just days after passing our $20 million dollar school bond issue with 62.5% of the vote, I want to first wish each of our parents, students, staff, and teachers a very successful and happy school year. Second, I want to thank the community for their overwhelming support of our bond issue. My pledge to each one of our citizens is to provide transparent, open and honest communication throughout the entire construction project. I, along with our school board, will wisely spend the dollars entrusted to us to build a new high school that will make all Long Beach residents, new and old, proud.

Have a great school year and as always... GO BEARCATS!
