Johnny Walker

LBMS Head Football Coach

I'm Coach Johnny Walker originally from Essex Missouri. My family relocated to the gulf coast 6 years ago and love it here. I love to fish, hunt, and hang out with my wife. I have coached a variety of sports like  football, baseball, basketball, and I currently assist in girl's high school softball. I have been assisting with the middle school football program for two years here at Long Beach and look forward to a new challenge this year. I have a simple coaching philosophy that if you teach players the fundamentals, discipline and respect of the sport you will succeed not only in that sport but in life itself. My coaches and I look forward to working with our players and families to further the program. God Bless y'all.

This ís my 7th year at LBSD, I was a Special Education teacher for 6 years. During that time I Coached Middle School Football and Varsity Softball. This year I am teaching Biology and taking over the Powerlifting teams from coaches who moved on to different schools. I look forward to  leading our power lifting team and working with the athletes to help them reach their goals.
