Congratulations to the Long Beach High School Girls Golf Team for winning the MHSAA 5A State Golf Championship. Seli Gundlach, Isabelle Burgess, Caitlyn Thornton and Gracie Bloom played 36 holes of golf at the Oaks Golf Club and had a two day first place score of 334. Lafayette HS placed second with a score of 379. Gracie Bloom shot an amazing 2 day total of 143 placing her as the 5A Individual State Champion for 2022! She had the top score in the state for all classes Wednesday breaking the 5A record at 6 under (66). Gracie and the Lady Bearcats made history this year with remarkable Back to Back State Championship Seasons.  Great job this year Seli, Isabelle, Caitlyn, Gracie, Hailey Saddler, Adley Gates, Ella Bourland and Coach Hicks, we are so proud of you!
