LBHS Boys Cross Country Coach

Coach Hanes is a head coach for Long Beach Cross Country, and an assistant coach for Long Beach Track and Field, working primarily with long distance runners.  Coach Hanes has nineteen years of experience, with the last five years as a Bearcat.  Coach Hanes ran for Mississippi State University cross country and track teams, won two high school state championships in the 3200, and has head coached numerous regional championship teams.

LBHS Girls Cross Country

I graduated from Long Beach High School in 2013, then continued my playing career at Coahoma Community College.  After attending Coahoma, I attended the University of South Alabama where I obtained my bachelors degree in History and Secondary Education.  I have been teaching and coaching at LBHS since 18.
