• As an alumni of Long Beach High School, I am honored to be a part of the wonderful faculty and staff of Long Beach School District. I have been the LBSD School District Social Worker since August of 2006. I obtained my Master Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2004 and am certified as a Licensed Certified Social Worker. I have recently obtained licensure as a certified school social work specialist.

I work with our amazing school guidance counselors and assist them with making sure students' emotional and mental health needs are addressed.  I can provide individual and group counseling in the schools. I can also assist the school counselors with identifying at risk kids and linking up families with needed resources.

My other role within Long Beach School District is as the homeless student liasion. Students living in transitional living situations are identified and monitored to make sure barriers to success are eliminated.

If you have any questions about the mental health services our schools provide, please do not hesitate to contact me.
