The two-team alliance won the Biloxi VEX Robotics Qualifying Tournament, beating a field of over twenty South MS teams. Both LBHS VEX teams will now advance to the State Championship in Jackson. In addition to being tournament champions, the "e-Lemon-ators" received the prestigious Robot Design Award.
The LB Diamond Club is hosting a drawdown and silent auction to benefit the LBHS baseball program. Tickets are $25 each for a chance to win $2500. The drawdown will be held Saturday, February 21st at 6 p.m. at the LB Recreation Center. Call 228-297-3357 or 228-669-2601 for additional information.
There will be a mandatory meeting at 3:30 p.m., Monday, February 2, at the stadium for all boys interested in track. If you plan to participate this year, you must be present. See Coach Mooney, Coach Packer, or Coach Felder for more information.
Attention Seniors: It is time to start bringing in your pictures for the prom slide show. These pictures can be from elementary school through high school. You will need to bring in a folder or on a flash drive with your name on them. Please bring to Mrs. Wilkinson. The deadline is March 11.
The LBHS cheer team will hold a technical skills clinic on Saturday, February 21, from 9:30-12:00 at the LBMS gym. This clinic will help you perfect your jumps, motions, and overall cheer spirit! the cost is $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Applications are available at the office.
Tryouts for Cheer or Dance for the 2015-2016school year will be held on Friday, February 27. The tryout clinic will be Monday, February 23-Thursday, February 26. Please see Mrs. Fava or Mrs. Pannell for tryout forms.
Golf team tryouts will be Tuesday, January 27 immediately after school. Students will be transported by bus to the Pass Christian Isles golf course.
